So we publish clear, actionable, eco-conscious guidance alongside the coverage data itself. Whether you want to shrink your carbon footprint, lower a monthly bill, or just be sure the lights are on before you start unboxing, the goal is the same: save you time, money, and energy.
We are continually adding to our database with an ambitious goal: a complete list of every utility provider in every city and town in the country. That adds up to hundreds of thousands of providers, so bear with us as the picture fills in. If you spot something inaccurate or know something we’re missing, please tell us.

Where This Data Comes From
Public Records, Read by Hand
There is no central federal database of local home utilities. We audit state utility commissions, pull physical tariffs and boundary filings, and digitize decades-old scans so a service territory can be tied to a street.
Coverage Is Not for Sale
This site is supported by commissions from some providers we list, and we say so plainly. What advertising cannot do is change who serves your address or move a provider up in verified results.
